You will notice that the url of the site begins “https://.” This indicates that the site has a security certificate (SSL or Secure Sockets Layer) that encrypts all data as it moves across the internet to protect it from interception or hacking.

In addition, we have a firewall on the site server to provide added protection.

Do we use cookies?

Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow). They enable the site's or service provider's systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.

For example, we use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart. Cookies help analyze web traffic or let you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences. You may choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. This may stop our website from functioning correctly.

Essential Cookies

When you access our website, the website will create an essential cookie that is needed for the operation of the website. The essential cookie will remember that you are logged in and that your session is secure.

Site Content

All creations are viewable by any visitor to the site unless you designate the post as private.  Private creations are only viewable by other active subscribers.

If your membership expires, your creations remain on the site under your name. However, your biography is hidden and your access to your profile and creations is blocked. If you would like your creations removed, you must contact site administration (you will receive a cancellation email prompting you to do so).

During your active membership, you can unpublish any creation to remove it from view by others. It will remain in the site archives, and can be republished should you choose to do so.

You can also trash any creation. In this case, the creation is removed from public view and from your dashboard. It remains on the server in the trash, until deleted permanently by the site administrator (which will be done on a regular basis).

Forum topics are visible only to active Creatrices. The topic, and all subsequent replies can be deleted by the person posting the original topic.  Once deleted, they cannot be recovered. Anyone posting a reply to a topic can delete their own reply. The deleted reply cannot be recovered.
