Oh, Jan...this is just stunning. A new favorite. I love how the colors of the sun are still there....like she's wrapped up in it even in the snow. A beauty with much depth. Thank you.

Hey it's Saturday, almost short February, a hop away from March, which should help blow in April and Spring in New Mexico.

Thank you both for your loving comments about my painting. Here is the back story: my painting is from an old picture in the New Mexican newspaper which I clipped and saved in my "To Paint" file, a long time ago.
The vender in the snow is Barbara Cate of Santa Domingo. I was determined to create this watercolor for Creatrix this week but totally unsure of how to involve light in the snowy scene...that part came by accident and was only validated when I stopped tryinG to use english for my title and used spanish instead.
