Thank you to all the birds in my front yard who keep me entertained and in love. Each one of you is so special. And speaking of special, thank you to my son Marshall for building me a special bird house which houses a very interesting bird this year. Just as the son goes down behind the Cerrillos Hills every night, this plain brown bird races to the portal and bobs her head in and out multiple times, then pops inside for the night. Soon after entering, she looks out, only her bill is visible. There are no sounds. I am not sure what to make of this.
A mystery. I love it.
Jan, I always love your birds--they are so curious and they connect with such an inviting gaze. It's good to have a little mystery, but maybe your shy guest will reveal itself . . .
Those two birds are curious looking, almost not posted, but then I bit the bullet.
Today's talk should be interesting...no lack of tappable sub topics...
