The Eve of the White Buffalo

Christmas Eve,

I’m traveling through Sandia Pueblo,

Fires glow along the way

Snow falling gently

My heartbeats rapidly

As up ahead the sheriff stops me.

His partner tries to get the blessing back behind a fence, the blessing of the White Buffalo.

All things began anew.

Patricia, I feel invited into a sacred space with this piece. From Christmas Eve to the Pueblo to the gentle snow and glowing fire to getting the "blessing back behind a fence" to the gorgeous drawing. Thank you. So powerful and "all things began anew." I love this creature you have brought to us.
