You are so young; trying to be a righteous crane, an honest crane, a good, strong, upright crane. Your legs are weak and wobbly. They buckle,. Looking around the pond you see danger, the coyotes, the eagles. What did your mom tell you? Was it, "Get into the water?" Or, was it "Stick with your friends?" Do you know how to fly yet? Where is your mom? Who will teach you how to fly? The eagle? Good luck. We can all use some good luck at a time like this.
Jan, pssst: you know from my name photo that I love the cranes. Yours is especially inspiring. Thank you!
I love this Jan. As I've said before, I can see all of your birds compiled in a book (so they can nest/fly/be together).
